Learn to make a large rawhide rattle. You will choose, prepare and decorate your stick, sew your rattle in your choice of color and stuff it for drying. You will take your rattle home to finish once it has dried (a couple days later) with full instructions for finishing and stones, herbs, corn & sage to use for the filling.

We will have scrap leather & suede in many colors, as well as a wood burning tool, paint, beads & rabbit fur to use to decorate your stick. Michelle will show you some ideas and techniques to make your rattle distinctly yours. The rattle heads will be prepared in advance, and Michelle will show you how to sew & stuff them, as well as how to complete them using an already made rattle.
