We at Gaia's Workshop Drums do art from our hearts with respect for those who have gone before and for those who are to come, working with the guidance of the gods, the ancestors, the honored teachers, and our sacred connection with the Mother.
All Drums are Custom Made. Allow about 2-3 weeks for your drum’s creation.
As with all drums, the larger drums have lower vibrations. These drums come with a standard beater in your choice of color or a wooden tipper for the bodhrans.

Crow or Raven Art Drum
These drums are made in the European pegged style. They are especially good for those who work with deities like Odin (in Reindeer), The Morrigan (in Goat), or other Crow or Raven Deities like Baba Yaga or Bran. Each handle is made freehand, so there will be variations in appearance but they will always include the tree and at least one crow or raven.
The thin reindeer, horse, deer or goat head is attached with wooden pegs (instead of the tacks commonly used on traditional bodhrans), and the wooden tree handle is dowelled into place in a hand wrapped cedar rim (depth 2 3/4”). The handle, rim and pegs are painted black. Because no metal or artificial substances are used in the construction of these drums, they are excellent for working with the fair folk or other sensitive beings.
These drums come with a soft black standard beater, if you would rather have a tipper, please let us know.
Dragon Art Drum
These drums are made in the European pegged style. Each handle is made freehand, so there will be variations in appearance. Painted wooden scales decorate the sides of the hoop.
The thin reindeer, horse, deer or goat head is attached with wooden pegs (instead of the tacks commonly used on traditional bodhrans), and the wooden tree handle is dowelled into place in a hand wrapped cedar rim (depth 2 3/4”). The handle, rim and pegs are painted your choice of red, blue, purple, gold or black. No metal or artificial substances are used in the construction of these drums.
These drums come with a soft matching standard beater, if you would rather have a tipper, please let us know.
Kitty Cat Art Drum
These drums are made in the European pegged style. Each handle is made freehand, so there will be variations in appearance. Kitty comes with a belled collar (removable) in your choice of colors.
The thin reindeer, horse, or deer head is attached with wooden pegs (instead of the tacks commonly used on traditional bodhrans), and the wooden cat handle is dowelled into place in a hand wrapped cedar rim (depth 2 3/4”). The handle, rim and pegs are painted in black, dark wood, light wood, grey or white. No metal or artificial substances are used in the construction of these drums.
