XL Horse Rawhide Siberian Priestess Tattoo Ritual Shamanic Rattle

$95.00

This is a custom made and painted extra large (6" diameter) rattle, custom made in golden horse rawhide, with a deer antler handle. The artwork is hand painted in red ochre. The rattle is filled with corn & sage to keep the energy pure. Your rattle will vary slightly from the one pictured. It is around 13" in length, depending on the antler.

This image comes from a tattoo found on a young woman buried about 2500 years ago in Siberia. Some people call her a princess, as she was buried with rich grave goods, but the fact that they included both cannabis and comfrey in her grave goods leads me to believe she was a priestess or shaman. If you wish to know more about her, here is an excellent link: http://siberiantimes.com/culture/others/features/siberian-princess-reveals-her-2500-year-old-tattoos/
