Make Your Own: 10", 12", 15", 18" or 20" Harmonic Shamanic Drum Kit with Horse, Deer or Elk Rawhide, a Maple or Cedar Hoop, and a beater
This kit includes everything you need to make your own harmonic shamanic drum. It includes a pre-cut appropriately sized rawhide head in your choice of horse, deer or elk, matching hand cut lacing, a cedar or maple hoop in your choice of 10" 12", 15", 18" or 20" diameter, and a beater kit consisting of a deer suede head in your choice of colors, a rough sanded willow stick, sinew, cotton wrapping and color coordinated artificial sinew. Our Harmonic Shamanic Line of Drums are made for those who really care about the sound & the energy of their drum. We call these drums "Harmonic Shamanic" because of the great resonance and multiple voices they create. These drums have had a special treatment of "honing & toning" developed by a Master Drummaker and an experienced Jazz/Rock percussionist, which brings into balance the animal spirit, the tree spirit, the masculine and the feminine. We invite you to interact with the broader wilderness of sound. Our drums are made with a five sided handle, for balance with the four elements with the central point of spirit (and, anyway, did you ever notice you have five fingers?)
Note: The 10" kit has 10 holes and two lacings per handle, instead of the normal 15 holes and three lacings per handle.
