Welcome to Gaia's Workshop

Gaia’s Workshop is both our full service metaphysical retail shop and the showcase & maker space for Gaia’s Workshop Drums & Sacred Art. The shop itself exists as a magical “space out of space” and “time out of time”, watched over by the elementals with a permanent altar to our patron deity, Gaia. This makes for a spiritually protected and safe space where we create drums, rattles and other objects that access the magic of our interconnected planet, focused on the energies, elements & numbers used by practitioners of the myriad of magical paths, including Paganism, Witchcraft, Shamanism and others. 

This business is named for and in honor of Gaia, both in her aspect of Mother Goddess of All, but also in the scientific aspect of the personification of the interconnected web of life on this planet.  We truly are all related and we forget this to our own detriment. Here at Gaia’s Workshop, we all have different eclectic interests but find our joy in working with our hands and hearts to create beauty in a world too often marred by ugliness of thoughts and deeds. We believe that the actions each human takes should be guided by a desire for excellence within the natural balance of all things.  We walk the path of simplicity and strive always to act with respect and honor.

We believe that all paths that lead to the sacred are valid, and that tools made specifically in honor of these paths can be stronger partners in our work. We at Gaia's Workshop do art from our hearts with respect for those who have gone before and for those who are to come, working with the guidance of the gods, the ancestors, the honored teachers, and our sacred connection with the Mother. For this reason, items available on this website (unless otherwise noted) are made by custom order and co-created with our customers. We all have things that make us an individual, and capturing those things in your personal ceremonial tools is very important to us.
