These heavy duty bags are customizable like our regular drum bags (which are strong, durable and cushy as they are), but with a double layer of thick fleece and reinforcements for extreme protection!
Your sacred drum deserves a beautiful bag! Custom made drum bags, hand sewn by our fabulous seamstress Zachariah or by me (your friendly drum maker), express your personality and keep your companion drum safe. Available in your choice of size (each bag fits up to 3" depth), colors & materials.
Features: The heavy duty bag is cotton on the outside (as shown in the flowered bag) with a full double thickness fleece lining, a nylon parka zipper which disconnects to ensure no damage to your drum, an adjustable reinforced strap and a reinforced pocket on the outside for your beater or rattle. All seams are serged and topstitched for strength & durability. There are so many great cotton fabrics available, check out fabric.com (http://www.fabric.com) and choose the one you want. Let us know what it is and we will order it for your bag. You can also just give us color or motif guidelines and let us get creative!
The other option is to supply your own material for the outside of the bag. Contact me if this is your option and I will let you know the dimensions required for the size you have chosen and the address to which to send it. Delicate fabrics will be backed with fusible interfacing for extra strength.
Because of the high standard of construction, allow two to three weeks. If you are mailing your material, I will let you know when it is received.
